DIY WORK WREATH FORM: WOODLAND RUFFLE

MATERIALS:

  • 14″-16″ Wreath Form
  • 18 Chenille Stems/Pipe Cleaners

On a regular 14″ wreath form there are 6 sections. Each section will have a total of 3 chenille stems. You will begin by wrapping a chenille stem around 2 wires. I typically wrap them this way to keep the ties from moving around too much. You will alternate putting 1 chenille stem tie (pipe cleaner) on the inside of 1 section and 2 on the outside of that same section. This will give you a total of 3 in that section.

The next section will alternate with 2 on the inside row and 1 on the outside row. You continue this pattern of alternating in each section until you have gone all the way around giving you a total of 18 ties, 9 on the inside and 9 on the outside rows.

Your work wreath form is now ready to add the deco mesh.
