STEP 1: TRIM YOUR FLOWERS
Once you have selected the flowers that you will use on your wreath you will need to trim the stem. I typically leave about a 3 inch stem to allow room to hot glue it to the base.
Choose your flowers.
Trim your stems down to about 3 inches.
STEP 2: PLACE YOUR FLOWERS ON YOUR WREATH
Whenever I am adding flowers or any other accents, I make sure to place them all on the wreath before gluing down to make sure I am happy with the placement. If you glue them down before that and are not happy with the placement, you will not be able to move them once the glue dries.
Your flowers should be one of your last steps on your wreath.
Place flower stems in between the deco mesh to allow gluing.
You should not be able to see the stem after placing it down.
Place all your flowers down on your wreath before gluing to make sure you are happy with the placement.
STEP 3: HOT GLUE YOUR FLOWERS DOWN
Once you are happy with the placement of your flowers, you are ready to use your hot glue. Go in between the deco mesh where your flower stem is and add the glue slowly. Make sure you put enough hot glue to secure your flower. After gluing all your flowers down, wait a few minutes then tug a little at your flowers to make sure they are secure. You may need to add a little more hot glue at this point if they do not seem secure.
Place your hot glue onto the flower stem making sure it is secured on the deco mesh.
Your glue should be on the stem and deco mesh. After a few minutes give it a little tug to make sure it is secure.
Your wreath is now complete!
