ATTACHING ACCENT SIGNS TO YOUR WREATH

STEP 1: WHERE YOU WILL PLACE YOUR ADHESIVE MOUNTS

I use Zip Tie Adhesive Mounts to attach all my signs to my wreaths. They are available at any hardware store or on Amazon.

Make sure you know where you want to put your accent sign on your wreath so you can figure out where on your sign you need to place your adhesive mounts. You will be attaching your sign directly to the wreath form so you want the mounts placed where it will be easiest to attach. I typically attach my adhesive mounts on all 4 corners on square, rectangle and round signs. If the sign is irregularly shaped I attach the adhesive mounts where it will be most secure on the wreath. Here are some examples of how to place them.

STEP 2: PLACING THE ADHESIVE MOUNTS

If you are using a wood or MDF accent sign you will be using Hot Glue. Place a drop on the sign then after removing the backing of the adhesive mount place the mount onto the hot glue and press firmly. Then add more hot glue around the edges of the mount to hold securely.

When using a metal or plastic sign, you will be using e6000 to secure your mount. This type of adhesive works for many types of material including metal and plastic and it guarantees a secure hold. You should let it cure for 24 hours before attaching it to your wreath.

STEP 3: ATTACHING THE SIGN TO YOUR WREATH

First, you will be placing chenille stems (pipe cleaners) through the adhesive mounts. I twist it one time to hold the chenille stem in place.

Now you will be attaching it directly to the wreath form so that it holds securely.

You can now trim the stem and tuck in to hide the end. Your wreath is ready to be finished up.
